On Tuesday Feb 24, 2009 the City Council will consider the adoption of the 1% Sales and 1% Hotel tax for properties located in the Hospitality Improvement Zone Business Development Ditrict (HIZ BDD).

The purpose of this tax is to provide revenue to assist in the improvement of the Hospitality businesses within the District.
